De 'North Coast 500' route is al op het interactieve kaartje hieronder geprojecteerd. Je kan 'zoomen' en kiezen tussen kaart of satelliet beelden. Op dat zelfde kaartje kan je straks 'live' mijn voortgang volgen via de data die mijn telefoon via 'Bubbler GPS' naar 'Spotwalla' gaat ophoesten (als ik alles goed heb ingesteld, maar dat denk ik wel).

De gebruikelijke voorbereiding vandaag. In de werkplaats de daktent op mijn auto takelen. Het voorste rek wat ik naar Spanje wel meeneem laat ik nu thuis. De extra jerrycans en 'middle of nowhere' spullen die daar normaal op zitten heb ik nu niet nodig.
Daktent plaatsen.
Morgen spulletjes bij elkaar zoeken. 'Werk' dingen regelen, boodschappen doen. Ik neem eten/drinken mee zodat ik een paar dagen zonder bevoorrading kan. Op locaties zonder stroom red ik me wel met de dubbele accu's in mijn auto. Geen plannen eigenlijk. Liefst wildkamperen natuurlijk, rustige campings zijn ook een optie (douche!), is het weer slecht dan kan ik ook een hostel of B&B opzoeken. Ik zie wel!
Eén ding staat vast, woensdag a.s. 17:30 vaart de boot met mij en mijn auto vanuit IJmuiden weg.
